Package Vacations in Greece and the Greek Islands

This package gives you the opportunity to witness the historical treasures of important towns of the mainland such as Olympia and Delphi and visit two of the premier island destinations in the Aegean, Mykonos and Santorini. You will be accommodated in distinctive luxury hotels and be toured around in small groups, ensuring privacy and comfort for a lifetime experience.

This is a tour that suits smaller and larger groups who are looking for that specialized and personalised service, this year we are offering the following incentive. For all of our 2012 booking dates, if the tour group numbers sixteen people or more for any of/or all of these tour dates, each tour member will have the opportunity to win the costs of the tour back. If the group makes this number, on the first or second night of the tour, one member's name will be drawn out of a had by the tour leader and Antelope Travel will reimburse that tour member's funds.
Minimum participation required to operate the tour is 10 participants. The incentive mentioned above applies for groups of 16 participants and over.

Day 1, Travelling to Athens
Once you arrive in Athens, our English speaking driver will welcome you and transfer you in a Mercedes taxi to your hotel in Plaka, just a breath away from Syntagma Square, the shopping district and many other attractions. Check in at the hotel and settle in your superior room with Acropolis views where you will spend the next to nights. You can walk towards Plaka for some shopping, a cup of coffee or a light dinner.
Day 2, Touring Athens Enjoy your breakfast and then you will be picked up by our English Speaking driver and our English speaking guide for your luxury mini bus guided tour in Athens. You will witness amazing landmarks such as the Acropolis, the National Archaeological Museum, the Tower of Winds, the old Palace, the Greek and Roman Agora, the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House and the changing of the guards, the Temple of Zeus, the Olympic stadium and then you will be transferred to Lycabettus Hill for panoramic city views and finally back to Plaka, for shopping and lunch in one of the restaurants.
Day 3, Peloponnese Tour
Breakfast and hotel check out before you are picked up and depart for your Peloponnese Tour. After a one-hour drive to the south we will reach Ancient Corinth, for a visit at Acrocorinth and the canal. Then we will head to Loutraki for lunch and afterwards we depart to Nemea for a visit in a winery and the Archaeological sites. Next we are off to Nafplion, the first capital of Greece.
Day 4, Epidaurus & Mycenae Tour
Have your breakfast and then we are off to Epidaurus for a visit at the ancient amphitheatre. Next is Mycenae with its Archaeological sites and museums and then we return to Nafplion for lunch in a nice restaurant. Leisure time in the evening to explore the romantic town of Nafplion.
Day 5, Travelling to OlympiaEnjoy a delicious breakfast and be ready for our trip to Ancient Olympia, where we will visit the archaeological site and the impressive museum. Lunch in a nice restaurant and overnight at Olympia.
Day 6, Travelling towards DelphiEnjoy your breakfast and set off for Delphi via Patras, Nafpaktos and the renowned bridge of Rio-Antirio. We will stop at the traditional mountainous village yet cosmopolitan village of Arachova for lunch and overnight stay.
Day 7, Visit at DelphiHave your breakfast and then we are off for a guided tour at the archaeological site of Delphi and its remarkable museum. On our way to Athens we will stop for lunch and a short visit to the historical site of Thermopylae. Upon arrival in Athens you will be hosted at a hotel.
Day 8 , Flying to Mykonos & Overnight Stay
After breakfast and check out you will be picked up by our transfer driver and taken to the airport to catch the short flight to Mykonos island. Once you arrive in Mykonos you will be met by our local representative and be taken to your hotel where you will spend the next two nights in a superior room. Settle in to your hotel and then start to discover the amazing nature of this unique island. Your hotel is one of the most exclusive on the island - with amazing views onto the Aegean, swimming pools, high quality restaurants and other first class facilities. The rest of the day and the day after are yours to do as you please. This is the perfect chance to sit by the pool and relax. You should not miss the opportunity to visit the town at night. One of the most cosmopolitan ports in the world, Mykonos Town is a mix of fun, frivolity and festivity. In the summer, the streets are one big party, with first class bars and restaurants, clubs to dance the night away and designer boutiques that are open late into the evening. Spend some time wandering the maze like streets, watching as the rich, famous and infamous pass by.
Day 9, Experience MykonosMake the most of your full day on Mykonos Island. There is always the option to relax by the crystal clear waters of the hotel swimming pool, but there are many fascinating places to visit in Mykonos. The Paradise and Super Paradise beaches are where the beautiful people play, and it's a fantastic place to watch people go by as you swim in the clear, warm water. The shopping in Mykonos Town is an amazing experience. The area around the famous and unique Little Venice is worthy of a visit for the sheer beauty of the area, the balconies of the buildings jutting precariously over the sea. For those who have a lust for more history, ask about taking a day trip to the nearby island of Delos, uninhabited for over a thousand years, it demonstrate the sophisticated society that lived on this once abounding trade centre. Delos is a must see for all history buffs. Once again, in the evening, don't miss the opportunity to see the town come to life.
Day 10, Ferry Passage to Santorini
Enjoy the morning in Mykonos, before your departure. You may have a swim by the hotel's amazing pool, or a last minute shopping after breakfast. Early afternoon our driver will collect you and transfer you to the port for your hydrofoil trip to Santorini. Travelling by hydrofoil is a fun, quick way of arriving at the jewel of the Cyclades. Amaze as you approach Santorini, as the island appears to be floating on a mist, and then be even more awestruck as the hydrofoil docks at the bottom of the massive Caldera. Santorini is bound to astound from the minute you set foot on this legendary place. You will be met by our local representative and be taken to your hotel where you will spend the next two nights. Immerse yourself in the sea views over the amazing cliffs from the balcony of your sumptuous accommodation. You may decide to stay here for the next two days, relaxing, swimming and watching the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. You may also choose to have room service deliver your evening meal to your room and eat dinner on the balcony so you don't have to miss one second of this natural wonder.
Day 11, Experience Santorini IslandThere are no planned activities, so your day in Santorini can be spending in many ways. You may want to stay and watch the view from the side of the pool, drink in hand, taking in the island's majesty. If you a bit more adventurous, your options are endless. You can travel down to the black sand beaches of Perissa and Perivolos, take a trip out to the volcano and hot springs in the centre of the caldera, wander the ancient streets of Thira, shopping in the exclusive boutiques and enjoying a frappe (café) and some baklava in a cafe overlooking the cliffs. You can also take the short trip to Oia in the north of the island, where the sunsets are said to be the most beautiful in the world. The day is yours to do as much or as little as you wish.
Day 12, Flying to AthensEnjoy your breakfast, check out and you will be collected from the hotel to be taken to the airport for your return flight to Athens. Once in Athens, transfer your hotel by our driver.
Day 13, Flying back homeThis is the last day of your vacation in Greece. Have your breakfast, check out and you will be collected from the hotel to be transferred to the airport for your return flight back home.
