This 13-night Greece holiday package gives you the chance to visit the most distinctive destinations in the Dodecanese islands, standing out for their relaxing atmosphere, long beaches, wonderful sights and interesting history. It is one of the favourite vacation packages for holidays in Greece, as the traveller has the advantage of visiting - except Athens and Delphi - the most famous of the Dodecanese islands, Kos, Patmos and Rhodes (Rodos). On the first days of your vacation you will be taken on a day trip to the mythical town of Delphi, the so-called “navel of the world”, as it was referred to by the ancient Greeks. Select this unique package and you will relish the vacation of a lifetime in Greece.

Day 1, Arrival in Athens AthensYour holidays in Greece start from the capital city of Athens. Upon your arrival at the International Airport of Athens you will be met by our English speaking driver and you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice in a comfortable air-conditioned car. Leisure time to enjoy your evening in Athens. If you arrive early in the day, freshen up and jump at the chance to take a taste of Athens. Plaka is a nice quarter nearby your hotel, with quaint streets and renovated mansions, nice shops and restaurants, the perfect place for a quiet night out before your trip to Delphi.

Day 2, Daily trip to Delphi DelphiHave your breakfast and get ready to be picked up for your daily trip to Delphi an approximate two-hour drive in the north of Athens in an air-conditioned coach. You will be accompanied by an English speaking guide who will explain to you in the best way everything about Delphi. Delphi lies in a wonderful location surrounded by mountains and was home to the oracle and one of the most sacred locations in Ancient Greece. The archaeological site is very well maintained and you will take a tour there as well as at the museum. Return to the hotel after a two-hour trip, when you will have the time to relax or go out and explore the city.

Day 3, Touring Athens - Travelling to Kos KosEarly breakfast and pick up for your half day guided tour of Athens in the comfort of an air-conditioned coach. Today you will learn a lot about Syntagma Square, the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Olympic Stadium, the spectacular Temple of Zeus from our English speaking guide who will explain everything about these Athenian landmarks as we drive past them. The best part of our tour is the visit to the Acropolis to admire the majestic Parthenon and the brand new Acropolis Museum. Transfer back to the hotel for check out and then you will take the underground or arrange a transfer to the airport for your flight to Kos Island. Upon arrival in Kos you will be welcomed by our local representative and get transferred to the hotel of your choice in Kos. Check in, freshen up a bit and head to get a first flavour of this enchanting island. Enjoy your dinner at the restaurant of the hotel or start of with sightseeing around the town.

Day 4, Out and about Kos KosMake the most of your day to get acquainted with the history and culture of Kos, the birthplace of Hippocrates, the father of medicine. Pay a visit at the archaeological site of Asclepion behind the town. It is a charming town with wide streets and a lovely waterfront avenue lined with palm trees. The day is yours to do whatever you feel like. Relax at the hotel pool, stroll around the town or select one of the many well organized beaches to relax at. The island of Kos is quite big so if you wish to travel around at your own pace and make your own schedule request a car hire and we will arrange it for you. In the Town of Kos you will find a good lot of international restaurants and Greek tavernas to select from for your dining and wining experience.

Day 5, Out and about KosMake the most of your last full day in Kos by paying a visit at the Knight’s castle overlooking the town. You will feel you have travelled back to the middle ages. We suggest exploring the centre of Kos town by strolling the back narrow streets to admire the traditional houses with the bloomed gardens, find a restaurant to taste traditional and turkey influenced flavors, go shopping in some of the nice shops providing anything you can think of. Relaxing at the hotel pool or going for a swim at the beach are of course some other good options but the choice is yours to do as you wish.

Day 6, Travelling to Patmos PatmosEnjoy your breakfast, check out and you will be transferred to the port for your relatively short ferry ride to Patmos, one of the most charming and serene islands in the Aegean. Upon arrival in Patmos our English speaking driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel, where you will spend the next two nights. Patmos is the ideal place to thoroughly unwind, soak up the sun and the sea and breath in its majestic aura. Select one of the local tavernas nearby the hotel for a nice meal including fresh fish and sea food.

Day 7, Out and about PatmosEnjoy your breakfast and set off on your exploration of Patmos to discover its sheer natural beauty. The contrast of the black rock and white houses is simply amazing, while remote small coves and beaches are waiting to be discovered. Patmos is regarded as a sacred island, as it is where St John wrote the Book of Revelation in the cave of the Apocalypse that would be nice to visit. Stroll around Chora, the main town in Patmos, admire the traditional houses and narrow alleys and visit the monastery. Take your time to wind down, get rejuvenated and feel brand new in this relaxing atmosphere. Select one of the atmospheric bars and restaurants to relish a traditional meal and have one or two cocktails before going back to the hotel.

Day 8, Travelling to Rhodes RhodesEnjoy your breakfast, check out and you will be transferred to the port to catch the ferry to Rhodes. Relax on the deck, feel the breeze on your cheeks and watch the seagulls flying around the ferry. Upon arrival in Rhodes, you will be welcomed by our English speaking driver who will transfer you to the hotel of your choice. Rhodes is an exciting, cosmopolitan island and you have five days to discover its treasures. Your best bet would be to rent a car as this way you will be able to see the best of Rhodes and even more at your own pace. So just ask us to arrange that for you. If you prefer, you can relax at the hotel pool or one of the well-organized beaches. The options are plenty.

Day 9, Out and about RhodesEnjoy your breakfast and get ready to discover Rhodes one of the well-loved destinations for vacations in Greece. It is a large island full of contrasts with Rhodes Town being separated into two, the contemporary city centre and the old town surrounded by 12- metre thick walls, which is fascinating. Give yourself the time to visit the Knight castle and take a guided tour within its walls. If you prefer you can always relax at the hotel pool or select one of the marvellous well organised beaches to spend the day at.

Day 10, Out and about Rhodes RhodesThe day is yours to do as you please in Rhodes. Take a trip back in time, learn about the history of Rhodes and witness its glory by visiting some of the most important monuments in the Dodecanese. The old town is the gem of the island with its residential area giving out a Turkish flavour with its Turkish bath, the winding cobbled streets and the great shops and restaurants, the perfect place to spend your day at. Don’t miss visiting the Knights Quarter where the Knights of St John used to live 1000 years ago. At this Quarter is the Palace of the Grand Masters, an exquisite museum guiding your through the rich history of the island. In the evening select one of the waterfront restaurants for your dinner and have a couple of drinks in one of the lively bars of the town.

Day 11, Out and about RhodesAt the main port of the island the Colossus, one of the Seven Wonders of the World used to welcome ships before it was destroyed by an earthquake centuries ago. Nowadays, another landmark of Rhodes are the two deer standing at the end of the Mandraki harbour. If you are in the mood for explorations today set of on a trip to the East with some of the best beaches on the island or the west with the inspiring natural surroundings, while If you travel towards the inland you will find beautiful traditional villages. In Rhodes you can make some good purchases in some of the local markets, such as leather silver and ceramic goods.

Day 12, Out and about Rhodes RhodesEnjoy your last full day in Rhodes by relaxing by the hotel pool or the seaside. If you wish to make the most of your leisure time in Rhodes and take full advantage of your vacation package visit the town of Lindos in the north with its exquisite archaeological site, lovely quiet harbour, quaint town and water sports facilities. You can also visit the Valley of the Butterflies, a natural wonder where you will admire a particular species of butterfly in a lush setting. In Rhodes there are so many things to do that you are spoilt for choice.

Day 13, Travelling to AthensEnjoy your breakfast, check out of the hotel and you will bet transferred to the airport to catch your flight back to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens you will check in the Sofitel Hotel, where you will spend the night. If you wish, you can get a taxi to Athens city centre, wander in Plaka for the evening and enjoy your dinner there.

Day 14, Flying back homeWe have come to the last day of your holidays in Greece. Enjoy your breakfast, check out of the Sofitel and catch your international flight back home at the airport, right across the road.
