Day 1, Arrival in Athens
Upon arrival at the airport of Athens our English speaking driver will welcome you and you will be transferred to your central Athens hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned luxury car for a soothingly relaxing two-night stay in Athens. The rest of the day is yours to explore this beautiful city. After checking in and having a rest you can walk to the historic quarter of Plaka, just at the foot of the Acropolis to enjoy the inspiring atmosphere and select one of the nice restaurants to have dinner. It is a lovely place to see on your first day in Athens. Return to your hotel to relax.
Day 2, Touring AthensRelish your breakfast and get ready for your Athens tour. You will be picked up from the hotel and our English speaking guide will introduce you some of the key sights and major monuments of Athens in a comfortable air-conditioned coach. We will drive past Syntagma Square and the heroic tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the exquisite Olympic Stadium, where the first Modern Olympic Games were hosted, the Temple of Zeus and at last, the majestic Acropolis. You will be given the chance to stroll around the car free archaeological zone and visit the amazing Parthenon, the ancient agora, as well as the brand new Acropolis museum that will fascinate you. Return to the hotel and the afternoon is all yours to take advantage of. You may visit the National Archaeological Museum or even go shopping around Omonia Square with lots of departments stores. A local traditional style taverna with live Greek music is the best way to spend your last evening in Athens, or you may select one of the high-class restaurants and later a dancing club to dance the night away.
Day 3, Travelling to Mykonos
Relish your breakfast, check out and you will be transferred to the port of Piraeus where you will catch the morning hydrofoil for Mykonos. Hydrofoil is the most convenient and fast way to travel to the islands. Upon arrival at Mykonos our local representative will welcome you and take you to your hotel, where you will enjoy your stay in one of the most elegant Mykonos hotels. After checking in the rest of the day is free to relax or stroll around Mykonos Town. The narrow, white-washed streets with the designer shops are the perfect place for a shopping spree while the waterfront cafes are the best spot for people watching. When the sun goes down it is time for a nice dinner in one of the local restaurants for all tastes while world-class bars and clubs are there to enjoy.
Day 4, Delos Island
Enjoy your breakfast and you will be transferred to the old port for an excursion to the island of Delos, only a 30 minute-boatride from Mykonos. In ancient years Delos, which was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, was a major trading port and religious centre. Nowadays Delos is an impressive open-air museum. In the afternoon you will be taken back to the hotel and you can spend your leisure time as you wish.
We suggest visiting Super Paradise beach with the lively beach bars or a stroll in Chora for shopping in the boutiques and jewellery shops. The hotel pool is another option to spend your afternoon. Mykonos Town is your best bet for a nice dinner in one of the water-front tavernas.
Day 5, Travelling to Santorini
Today you are travelling to Santorini, yet before checking out you have time for breakfast and a swim in the pool. You will be transferred to the port by our representative to travel to Santorini by hydrofoil. As you approach the island you will be amazed by its stunning picture-perfect beauty. Upon arrival in Santorini, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to one of the best hotels in Santorini, providing a majestic panorama of the caldera and the volcano in the middle of the sea. Select one of the caldera-rimmed restaurants to enjoy you dinner while admiring the sunset.
Day 6, Out and about Santorini
Santorini is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive destinations in Greece and you are there to explore it. You can visit the long black beach of Kamari and Perissa, take a boat tour to the volcano and the volcanic islets and swim in hot springs or even relax at the hotel balcony and pool watching the wonderful view. In the north of the island is the traditional settlement of Oia where you are bound to watch the best sunset ever. Santorini has a vibrant nightlife as well, so you can spend the evening drinking cocktails and dancing.
Day 7, Travelling to Athens After having breakfast on the balcony of your room or by the pool you will proceed to the check out. You will be collected by our representative and you will be transferred to the port or airport to travel back to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, our English speaking driver will transfer you to your hotel in a luxury car. Leisure time in the afternoon to enjoy the day around Athens. This is the last evening of your holidays in Greece. Go shopping and relish a wonderful dinner in one of the classy Athenian restaurants and then go for a drink in one of the upbeat bars of the town.
Day 8, Flying back home Enjoy your breakfast and you can either go for some shopping or strolling around if time allows. If not you will check out and get transferred to the airport to catch your return flight.
