Day 1, Arrival in AthensArrival in Athens where you will meet our English speaking driver at the airport. Enjoy your air-conditioned transport to a central Athens hotel of your choice. Leisure time in the afternoon and evening to explore the city of Athens. Walk around the old quarter of Plaka, with the wonderful restaurants, tavernas and shops. Relish a nice dinner and taste the amazing Greek cuisine. The cobbled streets in Plaka, underneath the lit up Acropolis hill will take you back in time. Welcome to the wonderful city of Athens.

Day 2, Guided Tour in Athens Time to get acquainted with one of the most incredible cities in Europe. After breakfast, you will be collected by your English speaking driver who will take you around the major ancient sights in Athens in an air-conditioned Mercedes. Your tour in Athens includes driving past some of the most important buildings of the city both ancient and modern, such as Syntagma Square, Omonia, The Temple of Zeus and the Temple of Athena Nike. You will also visit the unique Acropolis Hill with the Parthenon and the brand new Acropolis Museum, where you will see exquisite exhibits. This tour included the best of Athens yet if you drive towards the coast you will witness another great temple and breathtaking sceneries. The driver will take you to Cape Sounion where you will visit the Temple of Poseidon. From up there you will enjoy the most wonderful vista of the Saronic Gulf, as the temple overlooks the sea. Back to Athens we suggest you select one of the Greek or international restaurants to enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 3, Travelling to CreteBreakfast, check out and meeting with our driver to be transferred to the airport to catch your flight Crete. Once you arrive at the airport of Heraklion or Chania your rental car will be waiting for collection, so that you can drive to your hotel whether it is at Chania, Heraklion or Elounda. Get ready to enjoy those four days ahead of you by exploring the island and its beauties. There are plenty of things to do and options are inexhaustible.

Day 4, Out and about CreteToday you’ve got all the time ahead of you to go around Crete this historic island with the magnificent natural features, fantastic beaches, delicious cuisine and great nightlife. If you wish to unwind at the pool of the hotel, that fine, but we strongly suggest you jump into your rental car and drive to some of the most magnificent places you may ever see. Drive up to Omalos mountain at the entrance of the Samaria National Park and take a walk in this beautiful spot, or drive to Chania and admire the dreamy old port with the old houses and waterfront cafes, bars and restaurants. The options are many.

Day 5, Out and about CreteLeisure time to explore some more of Crete. Why not drive to Heraklion where you will have the chance to see excellent museums and archaeological sites, such as the Palace of Knossos and its museum, as well as “Cretaquarium”, where you will discover the underwater world of the Mediterranean. The old town of Heraklion is a wonderful place to wander, have a frappe in one of the cafes roofed under restored mansions.

Day 6, Out and about CreteLeisure time to do as much or as little as you wish on your last day in Crete. Drive to Rethymno and join one of those boat trips where you can swim with dolphins. Another option would be joining one of those pirate ship tours. Your rental car will take you anywhere you like. If you are a history buff you can visit the historic monastery of Arkadi, to learn more about the holocaust and admire its unique architecture. You may as well relax and get ready for your next day trip.

Day 7, Travelling to Rhodes (Rodos)Check out from the hotel, drive your rental car back to the airport to deliver it and the catch your plane to Rhodes. Arrival in Rhodes where you will collect your car hire and get detailed directions to drive to your resort. Once you check in start making plans about how you will spend your days in this beautiful island. It is an island offering a mix of unique features such as exquisite historical sites, great beaches, charming natural settings and lively nightlife.

Day 8, Out and about RhodesHop in your rental car and set off to get acquainted with the beauties of Rhodes. Your best bet would be to pay a visit at the old town reflecting Italian influences. Wander in the cobble-stoned streets of the beautiful well-maintained Castle of the Knights, visit the Palace of the Grand Masters, explore the town or simply head to one of the lovely beaches to take in the sun and swim in crystal clear waters. Day 9, Flying back homeOn this last day you are leaving Rhodes. After checking out, you will drive to the airport to deliver your car hire and catch your flight to Athens followed by an international flight back home or as you wish.
